Tour Highlights

Adachi Museum: Set in a beautiful natural environment, Adachi Museum of Art is well known for both its superb Japanese gardens and its collection of contemporary Japanese paintings, comprising approximately 1,500 of the country's most highly regarded paintings produced after the Meiji period and centering on the works of Yokoyama Taikan.

Matsue Castle: Completed in 1611 and one of the few remaining original castles in Japan, Matsue Castle was built over a five-year period by Yoshiharu Horio, founder of Matsue City. The central tower is the only such remaining in the San-in Regionand visitors are treated to a panoramic view from its top floor.
