  • The admission fee to Heian Jingu Shrine and Kasuga Taisha Shrine are not included in the tour booking charge.
  • The itinerary cannot be changed.
  • The figures given for time spent at visited locations are estimates only.
  • As Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed on the following dates, tours on these dates will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead. (Mondays, Tuesday if Monday is a national holiday, May 14-17 for the Aoi Festival, New Year's holidays, and whenever there is an Imperial Household event without notice).
  • Nijo-jo Castle is closed on every Tuesday in January, July, August, December and during the year-end holiday period. During these dates, the tour will visit Ryoanji Temple instead.
  • Chishaku Temple will be visited when Heian Jingu Shrine is closed due to Jidai Festival on October 22nd. If the festival is postponed, the date on which the changes in the itinerary apply may also be postponed to a later date.
  • Tours will generally also be accompanied by a Japanese-speaking driver.
