Tour Highlights

Silver Pavilion (Ginkakuji Temple) *UNESCO World Heritage Site
This temple was built in 1482 as a retirement villa of Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimasa. He intended to coat th structure with silver in imitation of the Gold Pavilion built by his grandfather. However, this could be accomplished bacase he died before the completion.

Zohiko
Zohiko has been creating lacquer ware for 350 years, since the end of the Edo period up until now. You can see the collection of Zohiko and enjoy shopping.

Tea Ceremony at En
Tea ceremony is one of Japan's traditional cultural practices. Experience making your own tea and learning Japanese manners and spirituality.

Gion
Walk around Gion area with well-preserved old houses will remind you of the ancient days of Kyoto. You may well have a chance to see a pretty maiko girl there.
