Takao Momijiya Restaurant: At this establishment, tour participants will bask in cool beside the flow of the Kiyotaki River, one of Kyoto’s premier crystal-clear stream, while being entertained by the lovely traditional dancing of maiko (apprentice geisha).

Kawadoko River Platform: Special summer season attraction in Kyoto. Involves dining on Kyoto’s seasonal delicacies seated an elevated platform over a river, where temperatures are typically 3-5 degrees cooler than in Kyoto City proper. From early June through early July, meanwhile, it is often possible to view fireflies (a protected species in Japan). Since these creatures exist in the natural habitat, they sometimes fail to show their lights.

Dining area is covered, enabling the activity to proceed even in rainy conditions.
