Tour Highlights

Danjo Garan: Garan was where various temples were built at the time Koyasan was founded and it is one of the two most sacred sites of Koyasan alongside Okunoin.

Okunoin: Okunoni is the most sacred site for Daishi-worshippers. It houses the mausoleum of Kobo Daishi, and the pure stream of the famous River Tamagawa cleanses the souls of worshippers.

Public transportation will be used.
You will walk a long distance between destinations, so please wear comfotable shoes.
The temperature on top of Mt.Koya is 8 degress Celsius colder than the temperature in Kyoto or Osaka, so please dress appropriately.
